Information Our Applications Collect

Our applications process your files (photos, videos, audio, documents, e-mail messages, contacts and other data you open in them) locally on your computer. We do not upload, read or store the contents of your files, except in the specific cases listed below that you start yourself.

• License activation. When you register a paid license, the application sends your license key, the e-mail address you entered, the application version and a hardware identifier calculated from your computer's hardware to our activation server. This is used only to validate the license and to limit the number of computers it is activated on.
• Trial and account registration. If you request a trial key, an AI credits account or a newsletter, we store the e-mail address you provide.
• Error reports. If you choose to send an error report from the Help menu or after a crash, the application uploads the diagnostic log, crash dump files (only if you tick that option), your optional comment and e-mail address, and the hardware identifier. A crash dump is a snapshot of the application memory and may contain fragments of the data that was open at that moment. Nothing is sent without your confirmation.
• Cloud AI features. Some applications offer optional online AI effects. Only when you start such an effect, the selected image is sent to our server, and from there to our AI processing provider, to produce the result that is returned to you. Uploaded images are used only to produce that result and are not used for any other purpose. All other processing, including speech recognition in our transcription applications, runs offline on your computer.
• Updates and offers. The application may contact our website to check for a newer version and to show current offers. These requests include the product name, version, language and trial status, but no personal data.

Purchases made through the Microsoft Store are processed by Microsoft. Purchases on our website are processed by our payment partners (merchants of record), who receive the billing information you give them under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is shared only with service providers that host our servers, process cloud AI effects and process payments on our behalf, or when required by law.

How Long We Keep Your Data

License and activation records are kept for as long as your license is valid, so that you can restore it on a new computer. Error reports are kept only as long as needed to investigate the problem. Images sent to cloud AI features are kept only as long as needed to produce and deliver the result. Any of this data is deleted on your request.

Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us at any time to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (including your e-mail address, license activation records and error reports). You can unsubscribe from our e-mails using the link in every message. You can use all offline features of the applications without sending any data, and you can decline sending error reports. To make a request, contact us at the address below; we answer within 30 days.

Children

Our applications and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Loggfiler

When you open a checkout page we record the IP address of that request, and after the order is paid we read our own web-server logs for that address to reconstruct which page you arrived on and which pages you viewed. The IP address and the list of viewed pages are deleted after 30 days and are never shared with third parties; only an aggregated source of the order is kept with the order record.
